Information: How to Join the Select Mailing List

Most record labels and producers use the radio/media mailing system provided by Select Distribution to transmit its new audio clips and/or albums to radio stations as well as newspapers, magazines, and TV shows.

Some labels and producers, however, may not distribute these materials through Select Distribution. In such cases, or if you wish to receive information on specific artists, we recommend directly contacting the promotional department of the record label in question. You can use our search engine to find out which label represents the artist you are looking for information on, and then consult our label directory.

Please complete the form and transmit it by email to info@select.quebecor.com. The mailing-list committee will notify you of its decision by email shortly.

Note that mailings to radio are addressed to the station’s musical director, to ensure that the materials will be made available to all station DJs, and all materials sent remain the property of the station.

Select Distribution is Canada’s leading independent music and video distributor. The company has close to 170 labels on its roster, and also the exclusive marketer of certain import albums.

If You are a Recording Artist
Please note that as a distributor, we deal directly with record producers and labels. If you wish to submit a demo recording, we invite you to consult our labels list. In that directory, you will find the necessary contact information to send your press kit, demos, etc. to the right people.
